The Image Is Found

I've more often than not worked with full-time creative professionals that were only in it to make their daily dollars and had lost all passion for their art. This local photographer couple, however, not only expresses their exuberance for the craft, but far exceeds it by sharing their own personal projects on their blog:

Daily Dose of Imagery

As a testament to the idea that art can be found in even the most common of places, Sam Javanrouh keeps a photo journal of his everyday life.

The aim of art is to represent not the outward appearance of things,
but their inward significance.

Photography, even more so than traditional media I feel, is one of the most difficult methods of art technique. Not because it is difficult to take a snapshot, but because it is so easy that anyone can do it. We're swamped with images everyday because of the abundance of imaging equipment. Even our phones have the ability to capture moments in time. Since it is so simple, we often lose our ability to discern truly well-composed photos and sometimes we even lose track of the deeper meanings of our own personal film rolls.

Mr. Jack Radcliffe began a typical fatherly project of shooting his daughter at various stages of her life, but soon became fascinated with the inherent shared human bond we all share.
